Mission

At Grayline, we strive to create clothing that never tires.
Inimitable, our designs aim to amuse the complex gamut
of human emotion. Our ambition is a visual one.

							The Story

The name Grayline came from a conversation with some friends
about how we used to do graffiti when we were growing up and
thinking of the extreme stances people take on the topic. Is it art
or destruction? While explaining this blurry territory between
what's good or bad and right or wrong, the phrases gray area
and fine line got jumbled, and Grayline was born.

The list of things people could disagree over goes on and on, but
the extremes come together at Grayline. We don't try to convey
this message literally in our designs. It's more of a lifestyle for us.
Grayline is about transcending the boxes that we put ourselves in,
and meeting in between to create and appreciate progressive art,
							clothing, design and ideas.

							The Boss

Birk Stefan Grudem is the head designer and owner of Grayline,
a clothing company founded in May 2008 and located in downtown
Minneapolis. He has been doing graphic design and screen-printing
for almost 7 years. When he first started screen-printing, he
concentrated on posters and art prints. Throughout the years then
progressed into designing for and printing on men's and women's
apparel. Though he currently designs and prints all of the clothing,
Grayline remains a collaborative effort to which many individuals
							contribute their time and ideas.
